I’ve been coming here since 1993. I’ve moved to San Antonio then to Seattle. But anytime I’m back in the old hood, this place is always on my list of first stops. 10 out of 10 recommend!

UPDATE: I fee it’s necessary to add, the margaritas are legit! Definitely get one to complete your meal!

The sign said, “seat yourself.” So that is what we did. Staff immediately m welcomed us and asked what we would like to drink. I was so thirsty from the heat outside, I could not have been met with a better greeting. The waitress was very attentive and the flow of everything went so smoothly. I ordered the#15 . It was so delicious the only bad issue I had was having to stop overeating and fill my doggy bag. I couldn’t waste any of my meal. It was really that good! The bill was fair and I had no problem forking over the cash and leaving a tip that reflected my satisfaction. Excellent service. This is not a fancy restaurant but if you just want to impress your taste buds and have everything you feel need to ask for delivered promptly to your table with a smile, this is the place. I hope for you the great experience I had. Maybe just don’t expect much and go from there. Also, they have a Specials Menu with at least 5 items for under $7. Wow! Very impressive even if you are not on a budget. And they have a bar!

Ate lunch here for the first time antique shopping in downtown Glendale. I live in South Tempe, and I’ll find another reason to go to Downtown Glendale to eat here again. Service is excellent. Food is better. Starting with their chips and salsa, I knew I was in for a really great lunch. I wasn’t disappointed. The street taco platter is something I’m still thinking about. Their beans and rice are everything you’d expect from an establishment that really cares about the quality of everything they serve. This will be my Glendale spot again, for sure.

Slightly slower than typical Mexican restaurants, but the food was great. I had the Nina’s Enchiladas or something like that. Good happy hour beer prices too. The pre-game chips were extra salty (good!) and the green salsa had a nice bite to it.

We celebrated Mother’s Day there on Saturday and our first time here and we all loved the food! I’m Mexican and it’s hard to find authentic Mexican food! They take their time to serve you the food but it’s worth waiting for fresh delicious food! Homemade tortillas too! We are definitely coming back! And we live more than 30 minutes away! And great customer service! Our waitress was awesome! Thank you!

I absolutely loved this place! I took my family here without knowing anything about it and we were so pleasantly surprised by everything. The atmosphere is great in there, I love the way it’s set up and the music playing is excellent. They have A fantastic waitress so I didn’t get the name of, but she was so friendly and warm. The food was spectacular and we will definitely be going there time and time again. This seems like a small mom and pop shop who really deserve all the business they can get. We were the only ones in there on a Saturday lunch time so I’m hoping they get the business they deserve!

Don’t use your debit card, the charged amount NEVER matches what you are told. The food is really good, sometimes the portions are small. POP- there is a really nice lady who usually takes orders..but there is one who is not welcoming to POP. I am Afro Latina and speak Spanish, she said some very cruel things she did not think I understood. This restaurant is very cozy and beautiful inside, it reminded me of Mexico that I miss so much. But because of the mean lady talking reckless and over charging my card and waiting so long to even put my order in. I don’t want to go back. She does not represent my Mexican heritage and is disgraceful. If I do go back it will be because if everything else that is good about such a beautiful restaurant and the other nice lady. It’s just food, but we should enjoy it just like life.

The absolute best Mexican food hands down. Real authentic fresh Mexican food. Unbelievably well priced! The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is fantastic! This was also featured on Diners drive ins and dives on the Food Network. This place deserves 100 stars! Be careful not to just drive by in downtown Glendale it looks like a little hole in the wall restaurant but I guarantee you’ll not be disappointed

Honestly I think this place is only good for takeout. The consomé/ barbacoa I ordered was pretty good, but the place is just not it. They gave us foam plates and plastic utensils although we were eating there. It probably doesn’t seem like big of a deal, but isn’t this a restaurant? We ordered for dine-in, not take out. And what they gave us was in limited count, like the tortillas and napkins. Plus there was no music. And they had the audacity to bring a big jar with a very small amount of leftover coffee.

All the food from this place is NOT fresh. Everything is microwaved, and I mean EVERYTHING. The kitchen is very very dirty too. The older waitress is super rude, I do NOT recommend this place at all. The prices are crazy, in my opinion it’s not worth it

My Brother told me about this Little Gem, before he left for Michigan. He said “You have to get the Carne Asada Fries..so I did…not disappointed at all. They..in my opinion are the Freshest. Crispiest. Tastiest I’ve had in the Glendale, Phoenix, Sun City Region. Definitely a must try. Its near Market St.where McNicks used to be. You cant miss it.

This Place needs to properly train their employee’s with good customer service. The girls at this place are so rude and disrespectful even when you are being nice. Not my fault you don’t want to work here. Seems they were upset they had to work because no other customers were at the restaurant when I ordered food.

Paid $120 for a family of 5, one meal each, one desert for 3 kids, price was ridiculous, Garcia’s, who is upscale doesn’t charge this much. Rice was dry, beans tasted old. I would do a no stars but it can affect a small business. They just need better quality and food. Taco meats were not good either, their tortilla tasted like chemicals.

Waited 15 mins in line as the workers worked on online orders and ignored all the people in line. Staff was very unfriendly and honestly didn’t care the fact their line was long. My tortilla I got was also moldy so that was gross. Thanks for wasting my time and money! 👎👎👎Trash location!
